Visited Dostall Farms for the first time last Fall (2016) on a local farm an small business tour. Was very impressed with the operation of their business of all natural foods. We ran into the owner at a Laurel Run cooking class in Vermilion this spring. We ordered a 1/2 a pig. WOW, what a difference fresh, Organic, Antibiotic free meat is! It is the best pork chops we ever had by far! So tasty and we are addicted to the bacon. Loved being able to talk with them, when ordering to get all the cuts we wanted. I can not wait to get my 2 chickens in May. The only negative thing I can say is that the breakfast sausage was too peppery for my taste. We will not go back to store bought meat ever again.
If you are looking for Fresh Organic meat Go To Dostalls!!! I had stomach issues for years to the point I quit eating beef all together. I tried a sample pack and fell in love with beef again. I can now eat beef without getting sick and that's all thanks to the Dostalls. The steaks are amazing!!!!! I now purchase all of my meat from them. Great people who are so friendly and help you through the whole process with ease. Jim and Judy you Rock!!!!!
I purchased the sampler & 2 whole chickens earlier this spring and I still haven't used it all! I am the only meat-eater at my house and I must say, I LOVE IT, ALL! The beef & pork are delicious. The 1-2 lb portions are perfect for a meal and 2-3 servings of leftovers. Eggs were amazing and the honey is also incredible! The chicken is also tasty and, with some Pinterest help, I was able to cook the whole chicken and I had tons of leftovers. Judy & Sam showed me around their farm and their set-up is definitely animal friendly, clean and 100% humane - you can't ask for anything better! I will be ordering Samplers for a long time!!
We are new to buying meat in this manner, but we are SO PLEASED! Everything we have eaten so far has been superb! The packaging is perfect for us since there are only two of us at home. We will definitely continue to purchase our meats here!
What's not to love about Dostall Farms....the beef, pork, chicken & eggs are amazing. Not to mention, Judy & Jim are great people. I wasn't much of a beef or pork lover until I tasted my cooking with their meats. What a difference in the taste. I can honestly say you can season very lightly because the meats are so flavorful. I love being able to feed my family all natural foods!

I am a five year cancer survivor and last summer my baby sister was also diagnosed with cancer. I am so grateful to Jim and Judy at Dostall Farms for providing our family with steroid and hormone free products, as well as outstanding customer service. The beef, pork and eggs are beyond compare and I'm so grateful to say that today, my sister is cancer free. We are customers for life!
First we bought a couple of sample. Wow - huge difference in taste from the grocery store. Then I bought a freezer and filled it with beef, pork and chicken.
My wife is happy that the freezer is full and the weekly grocery shopping does not have to include the meat counter and the constant changing prices. The whole family LOVES the steaks so much so we can no longer order steaks when we are out at restaurants since we have been spoiled with the best tasting Steaks. If its not Judy Steaks then I would rather not have steak.
Our family tried the sampler from Dostall farms and thought it was fantastic. Today I picked up a 1/2 a hog. What a value! Our freezers are stuffed. Their pork tastes so much better than store brands. Plus Jim and Judy are great people. Thanks Dostalls.
